As previously informed, the JHCA Canada Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, starting at 9:30 a.m. at Metropolitan Centre located at 3840 Finch Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T 3T4.
JHCA Canada Election 2025 to elect the JHCA Canada Associations Office Bearers and Executive Committee Members for the term 2025-2027 will be conducted by the Elections Committee at the AGM on December 14, 2025.
Mr. Suthakaran Subramaniam (LM-0234) has been appointed and has accepted to be the Election Committee chair to conduct the JHCA Canada Election 2025.
The nomination form with submission instructions is attached to this email for your convenience. It can also be downloaded from our website www.jaffnahinducanada.
Nominations will only be received at elections@
Please take note of the important dates below.
- Nominations will open starting at 11:59 PM EST on November 15, 2025.
- Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 PM EST on November 29, 2025.
- The JHCA Canada website (www.jaffnahinducanada.com) will be updated on November 30, 2024, to publish the details of the nominations.
- Nominations can be withdrawn before 11.59 PM EST on December 06, 2025.
Please Note: As per Article 9, Section I of the the JHCA Canada Constitution amended on Nov 9, 2025, the tenure of the Office Bears and Executive committee elected will be for 24-months.
We encourage all eligible members to actively participate in this important process and contribute to the continued success of JHCA Canada.
